As no two people are alike, Dr. Hounjet utilizes a diverse clinical approach to patient care that is tailored to the needs of each patient. He is continuously learning and working to enhance the level of care he can provide to his patients by staying up to date on current best practices and continuing to expand his clinical skills.
Dr. Megan grew up in Saskatoon, SK, where she attended the University of Saskatchewan and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. During her time at university, she continued to stay active in the basketball community through coaching high-level and grassroots athletes, as well as volunteering with the USask Huskie Basketball program.
Dr. Megan was first introduced to chiropractic in her teen years after a sports injury left her unable to move without pain. After the injury resolved, she continued to receive regular chiropractic care, which allowed her to perform optimally within sport and maintain overall wellness. Her passion for wellness and an active lifestyle led her to Davenport, Iowa, where she graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Megan utilizes a variety of techniques such as Diversified, Thompson and Activator Methods. Her personalized approach to chiropractic care helps her patients feel better, move better, and live healthier lives. Every adjustment is part of a bigger goal: helping you get back to doing what you love, pain-free. She believes all patients deserve to be heard, cared for, and empowered in their health journey. She takes the time to listen and understand each person’s unique experience—whether they’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or managing everyday life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Megan enjoys staying active through daily walks and strength training, listening to podcasts, and continuing her education by engaging in seminars to better serve her patients.
